Velocity has the same overall shape as Freestyle, but is relatively narrower and longer for faster acceleration. Velocity is for a more experienced rider that prefers the acceleration and knows how to handle the speed. This board is easy to get up on and easy to surf. Due to its acceleration, it is not recommended for beginners unless you are already experienced at riding other boards or skis. The shape and dimensions of Velocity results in a very stable board that does not have the tendency to nose dive as seen in other boards and has almost no tendency to log roll. The stability and fast acceleration results in a stable board for learning advanced tricks. Velocity is available with numerous traction deck colors. They come with medium sized fins for somewhat loose but stable ride and with a surf leash to keep the board from flying away from you (and into the boat) when you fall .
