Hyperlite Kharma Wakeskate Last year, Hyperlite came up with a new evolution in wakeskates which opened up the gate of tricks a rider can do. They molded a kicktail independent of the waterline, giving a skater more leverage on ollies. This style of deck allows the center of the board to still sit deep in the water, feels stable on lip tricks, and is capable of jibbing any rail a traditional wakeskate could hit. This year, Hyperlite teamed up with Brandon Thomas and redesigned our best selling skate. In addition they reduced the amount of secondary kicktail in the Karma series by .4¯ which gives a rider more stability on the skate. Then they widened the ends of the board by .7¯. The additional width provides more ollie power. Hyperlite's Karma series features a weighted system on the tip and tail so the board sits even lower in the water. This high-end skate has several refinements to help you enjoy the boot-less freedom of expression.
