Hyperlite Coex 4.4 05Brian Grubb, Erik Ruck, Parks Bonifay, and Scott Byerly collaborated on a wake surfboard that combines the speed they were looking for out of a bottom turn from their favorite short board and the power to ollie found in the features of some of Hyperlite's wakeskates. The Coex's smaller stature makes it an easy board to maneuver around the water's current, while the dished out concave and back Stomp Pad give this board more leverage for bigger air off the lip of the wake. Made with a softer radius 1.3¯ rail this style of deck sits higher in the water than the Broadcast series. Going to a thicker profile allows you a shorter board without losing the buoyancy.
