The Rambo Mono was specifically researched for high standard ice climbing in the mountains and on frozen waterfalls, making it a specialized crampon that sets a new performance standard. Its single front point forged in Chromolly steel makes it ideal for mixed climbing, as well. Forging allows Grivel to work in three dimensions, combining the advantages of a both horizontally and vertically oriented front point. The crampons are totally rigid and, once secured to rigid boots, provide a stable and solid platform underfoot. The Rambo's multiple adjustments allow the user to build a crampon that fits his/her boots exactly.
