Breaking strength: 26 kN (5850 lbf.). Outer rubberized sheath holds the folded webbing in place until shock loaded; great for ice climbing. Reduction in system peak loading: 4-8 kN. This energy-absorbing sewn sling effectively reduces the peak load on any climbing system during a significant fall.
