Compression-spring cartridges spin for easy adjustment to boot size. Hardwire 3-pin heel assemblies can be locked on the heel lift-plates for no-heel-resistance uphill ski touring. Hardwire 3-pin toe boxes are manufactured from 6000-series aluminum and tempered to a hardness of T6. Hardwire rods attach to toe boxes via smooth brass pivot points; toe boxes are guarded from wear with thin stainless-steel wafers. Internal-compression, spring-cartridge heel assemblies add even more versatility. Lift-plate spacers prevent excessive wear on the ski top-sheets from the pivoting climbing wires. Riser platforms are ramped to eliminate complications from the natural curve or rocker of telemark boots. Steel bails are tempered and embossed to provide incredible long-term durability. Tempered, stainless-steel hardwire connecting rods provide superior lateral control and excellent on-snow performance. These Voile® telemark bindings combine traditional 3-pin design with current heel-bail technology. V-120 risers have an industry-standard, 4-hole pattern in order to mount directly to skis with pre-installed threaded inserts.
