Bezel is easy to use, even with gloves or mittens; can be locked in the off position, preventing unit from accidentally being turned on in your pack. Comes with a spare xenon bulb and three AA batteries; optional top strap sold separately. Design is great for camping, hiking, climbing and alpine pursuits, as well as around the house. LED option offers maximum efficiency, or switch to the xenon option and bump up the power to a long-range projection beam (76m / 249 ft.). Simple, adjustable elastic headband is comfortable to wear and easy to put on, even in the dark.
