Kernmantle design combines durable braided sheath and shock-absorbing core for protection from fall forces. Smaller diameter allows easier clipping, while reducing weight and bulk for easier transport. Suitable for traditional, sport and alpine-style climbing, the Spire is as at home on the crags as it is on long alpine routes. UltraDry™ treatment penetrates sheath and core to retard water absorption and improve abrasion resistance.
