First used by fishermen in the North Atlantic, these battery-heated socks will keep your toes toasty on the trail or in the stands. Hand wash in warm water with mild detergent. Do not wring, hang dry or towel dry only. Socks are extremely safe: Low amperage eliminates all possibility of shock or burn, even when wet. Socks use two D batteries (sold separately); Fully charged batteries will last 5-6 hours and rechargeable batteries will last 2-3 hours. To turn heat on, insert battery and snap pouch closed; to turn off, un-snap the pouch (remove batteries when not in use).
