Atlas Scandium XL™ poles are very light, super strong and completely field serviceable without tools. Average minimum weight specification is based on tent, rainfly and poles only. Catenary-cut seams create a taut canopy and rainfly for improved strength. Comes with stuff sacks, tent stakes and owner's manual. Designed to ensure superior strength in wind and snow, Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 uses extremely durable, yet super-light fabrics and materials. Dry entry vestibule design prevents water from dripping inside tent when vestibule is open, improving livability. Expedition bathtub-style nylon floor features a non-hydrolyzing 5000mm polyether urethane coating making it one of the strongest floors available. Expedition nylon taffeta rainfly features a polyurethane coating on the inside and a silicone coating on the outside for added rip- and UV-resistance. Full-length vestibule pole creates a large front vestibule area and adds strength; clear SVX film window is rip-proof and allows views outside. Generous vent in upper canopy has mesh panel for airflow and ripstop nylon panel for four-season use; rainfly has clear UVX film window over vent. Interior perimeter mesh pockets extend along entire sidewall to keep small essentials off of the floor. Non-wicking grommet tabs have adjustable buckles; silicone-dipped nylon guy-out loops ensure durability and prevent moisture from wicking to tent. Pitch Light Option: Fly, poles and footprint (sold separately) pitch without canopy for an ultra light shelter. Rear vestibule offers extra storage space for gear and an extra entry; zipper allows access to rainfly for roll-up ventilation.
