Atlas floating pole connectors mean poles flex with less stress at the joints, weigh less with more strength, and can be fixed without tools. Average minimum weight specification is based on tent, rainfly and poles only. Combine the rainfly, poles and footprint (sold separately) together for a lightweight shelter option. Comes with stuff sacks, aluminum y-pegs and owner's manual. Dry entry vestibule design prevents water from dripping inside tent when vestibule is open, improving livability. Evolution Tension Arch™ technology results in a lighter, stronger tent; added fabric reinforces the poles and stabilizes them in three dimensions. Gated Power Clips at all pole intersections increase structural strength. Mesh abounds in the lightweight Mountain Hardwear® Skyledge tent for two--which means the views and ventilation rock! Non-stretch fabric reinforcements keep poles from compressing or moving laterally; the harder a pole is compressed the more the tent is stabilized. Strut design maximizes headroom and increases the structural strength of the already stable two-pole design. Super-light nylon ripstop rainfly and body have outer silicone coating for additional strength, water repellency and less stretch in wet conditions.
