May require re-drilling and plugging gunwales if replacing older style hardware. Mounting holes are spaced 8.25-inch apart, compatible with many existing mounting systems. These seat hangers offer more strength and stability than older style independent hangers. Truss can be custom cut to hang a seat level or at an angle. Truss integrates the hangers on each side of the seat into one elegant arch support, stiffening the entire seat assembly and reducing wobble. More info + price
