Combination front-panel and top loading provides complete access to all corners of pack. Contoured, 3-layer ISO waistbelt's foam padding evens out pressure against hips to provide comfortable load support. Daisy chain, ice-axe loop and lash tabs let you strap on extras to the outside of the pack. High-density polyurethane (HDPE) framesheet and twin aluminum stays provide load support and prevent bulky items from poking into your back. Lumbar pad and breathable back panel increase your carrying comfort. Made from lightweight, durable 600-denier polyester Kodra®, 500-denier nylon Kodra and 420-denier nylon micro ripstop. Main compartment holds a hydration reservoir and features tube ports on lid (reservoir sold separately). Removable, floating top pocket converts to a waistpack for forays away from base camp. Side and vertical compression straps secure and stabilize the load. Spindrift collar cinches down over the main compartment to seal out rain or snow. Sternum strap, load-lifter straps and belt stabilizers help balance the load; pulley-like Scherer Cinch™ doubles hipbelt tightening force.
