Four elegant Magnesium MG field-replaceable buckles are lightweight and solid and secure the fit. G-Fit 3 liners have a tough outer material and a simple, effective lacing system. Height-adjustable, removable spoilers maintain a close fit with no play between inner boots and shells. Inverted lower buckles will not interfere when hiking and climbing and have Ice Breaker pins that reduce ice build up. Liners are anatomically designed and use three densities of foam and a heavily padded cuff and tongue. Magnesium-adjustable canting mechanism allows you to customize the cuff alignment to your leg shape. Multi-injected cuffs are supportive and provide a smooth, responsive forward flex; soft buckle straps are easy to get in and out of. New ski mountaineering soles have anti-friction areas for better release from bindings; also includes ISO norm alpine soles. Technogel® gel shock absorber inside the heel of the shell cushions for added hiking comfort. Three-position adjustable shells lock in at 20 or 25 degrees and can be left unlocked for walking comfort. Upper buckles can be moved 18mm to accommodate a variety of lower leg diameters.
