Aircomfort system utilizes a suspended mesh panel allowing moist air to escape freely through three sides to prevent heat build-up. Contoured mesh shoulder straps and mesh stabilizing wings on the hipbelt help support the load in a lightweight manner. Durable spring steel frame provides a flexible and light structure and applies tension to the mesh. Internal pocket holds hydration reservoir (sold separately) for hands-free drinking on the trail. Made from Duratex500 Carbonite, a 500-denier nylon with a light weight and high tear strength; polyurethane coating creates a waterproof barrier. Side compression straps let you stabilize the load; ice axe loops and trekking pole loops are perfect for securing gear to the front of the pack. Top lid pocket stores a map, compass, headlamp and other oft-used gear. Top-loading main compartment has plenty of room for lunch and the ten essentials; two side mesh pockets carry water bottles and snacks.
