Includes four AA batteries and a lightweight carabiner for hanging unit from a limb or inside a tent (carabiner not intended for climbing). LEDs cast an even, white light, are nearly indestructible and significantly extend battery life compared to incandescent bulbs. Lantern provides the super brightness of a two-watt LED yet only draws the power of a one-watt bulb. Measures only 3.2 inches high closed; space-saving handle nests against the top of the cap. Patented Pack-Away design automatically turns light off when lantern is collapsed, preventing accidental battery drainage.
