Arc'Teryx Beta AR is a hardy, all-business Gore-Tex® Pro shell that streamlines options without sacrificing performance and durability. Arc'Teryx Beta AR is built tough and excels in alpine environments. Dropped back hem increases coverage. Gore® Micro Grid lining is a thin, low-denier, low-density woven fabric that allows the shell to slide easily over mid layers. Gore-Tex® 3L Pro Shell fabric is tough, extremely breathable and durably waterproof and windproof. Helmet-compatible hood offers full protection and fits without inhibiting peripheral vision; collar/hood design offers an excellent weather seal. No-lift gusseted underarms and articulated elbows allow freedom of movement. One inside laminated chest pocket. Pit zips provide ventilation control; WaterTight zippers eliminate need for bulky double zipper flaps. Reinforced shoulders, elbows and sleeves are highly abrasion resistant. Two large handwarmer pockets with WaterTight zippers and zipper garages are placed so they won't interfere with pack straps.
