Arc'Teryx Beta AR is a hardy, all-business Gore-Tex® Pro shell that streamlines options without sacrificing perfromance and durability. Arc'Teryx Beta AR is built tough and excels in alpine environments. Dropped back hem increases coverage. Gore® Micro Grid lining is a thin, low-denier, low-density woven fabric that allows the shell to slide easily over mid layers. Gore-Tex® 3L Pro Shell fabric is tough, extremely breathable and durably waterproof and windproof. Helmet-compatible hood offers full protection and fits without inhibiting peripheral vision; collar/hood design offers an excellent weather seal. No-lift gusseted underarms and articulated elbows allow freedom of movement. One laminated internal chest pocket. Pit zips provide ventilation control; water-tight zippers eliminate need for bulky double zipper flaps. Reinforced shoulders, elbows and sleeves are highly abrasion resistant. Two large handwarmer pockets with water-tight zippers and zipper garages are placed so they won't interfer with pack straps.
