As boat is driven onto trailer, the bow eye contacts the Boat Buddy and triggers a spring-loaded, stainless steel bolt through the bow eye, attaching the boat to the trailer. Easily installed. Designed for boaters with drive-on trailers. Replaces the typical 3'' or 4'' wide roller or V-block.
